The Population Control Department periodically selects people at random for a cryosleep experiment as a solution to the planet’s overpopulation. It is not known whether these people will ever wake up again, but they are given the opportunity to transfer their consciousness into the dreams of another person, if that person agrees to ‘host’ them. Yoshiko is one of the people selected for the experiment and, having no one else, she asks her friend to offer her space in her mental world. The complicated relationship between the two girls and the fusion of their universes seems to trigger a cataclysmic event that causes chaos and turns everything into a nightmare with real-world consequences.
